Pelham making strides in 30 for 30 Challenge

Reaching the midway point of June, the Town of Pelham still has some room to improve its standing in the Community Better Challenge, hosted by PartcipACTION. As of Monday, June 22, 2021, Pelham is ranked #16 provincially and #80 nationwide. 

The Challenge is a national physical activity initiative encouraging Canadians to get active searching for Canada's Most Active Community. Pelham is getting moving with the June 30 for 30 Challenge, a month-long commitment to tracking active minutes.

Pelham Pool opening with Step One of provincial roadmap

With Step One of the Province’s Roadmap to Reopen beginning Friday, June 11 at 12:01 a.m. the Pelham Pool at Marlene Stewart Streit Park is scheduled to open on June 12.

Registration for lane swim can be completed online at www.pelham.ca/register, and family swim bookings can be done by calling the pool directly at 905-892-9696. Registration for lessons opens Monday, June 14, at 9 a.m.

Pitch In Week just around the corner

As rules and regulations around COVID-19 changed, the Town of Pelham has adjusted event and community initiatives dates to ensure that all current health and safety precautions are taken when engaging with the community. 

The previously scheduled Pitch In Week, initially taking place during April, is ramping up once again, with the event now running from June 19-25.

What you need to know.

  1. Any business that is in any of the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce areas that employs 150 people or less can access this program.

  2. Fill out the following form to order your tests.
