The Town of Pelham offers a variety of children and youth activities throughout the year. From plays, parties, indoor and outdoor programs, there is something for everyone.

Please note that as a precautionary measure, the Town of Pelham is closing all Recreational facilities as a result of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Effective 6pm, Monday, March 16, 2020, the Meridian Community Centre (MCC) and Old Pelham Town Hall (OPTH) will close until further notice. All recreational programming (including March Break Camp) and events (including the Easter Egg Hunt) will be cancelled during this period and the MCC walking track is closed.

Youth Programs Coming to the Meridian Community Centre

 Youth Drawing Lessons
The Town of Pelham is pleased to offer Youth Drawing Lessons by Melynn Rose for youth 8 to 18 years old! Young artists will learn various anime art techniques & skills including drawing objects & simple creatures, character anatomy & designing and implementing characters in illustrations or manga. Dates for this program will be available upon the re-opening of the Meridian Community Centre.

Cost to be determined, all materials included.

 Starter Tennis 4 Kids
Youth will learn the game of tennis using developmentally appropriate equiptment (smaller racquets & court size), all while developing skills & strategies through playing games and having fun! 
  • Learn from a Certified Tennis canada Instructor!
  • Ages 7-10
  • All equiptment is provided

 

Dates for this program will be available upon the re-opening of the Meridian Community Centre.

 Youth Drop-in Volleyball

Drop in volleyball at the Meridian Community Centre on Friday nights from 8:15-10:15pm for you ages 13-17! Drop in fee is $6.oo/ person or you can purchase an activity punch pass for $80 for 20 uses.
