Are you interested in learning the game of Tennis? The Town of Pelham offers Tennis lessons with Marko Petkovic!
Marko Petkovic is a certified Coach 2 and US PTR Professional Coach as well as a member of the TPA. As a former junior Provincial player and a 4 year member of the Brock University varsity team, he has been coaching tennis throughout the Niagara Region for 20 years. Marko would consider himself a coach geared towards development and has had the pleasure of being involved in both progressive and high performance tennis programs. Currently he is working full time at the Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, where he hopes to establish a solid foundation for Juniors. Marko has been dedicated to the development of tennis across the Niagara Region, having coached at several of Niagara's largest clubs. His passion for coaching can also be seen through his involvement in the community. For 5 years Marko has served as a volunteer coach for his former high school tennis team.

The Pelham Tennis Association (PTA) |
Founded in 1977, the PTA is a community organization run by volunteers to promote the playing of tennis and uphold the standards and objectives of the Ontario Tennis Association.
The membership of the PTA welcomes you to a fun and exciting season with commitment to bringing safe and affordable community tennis to Pelham. Four newly reconstructed courts are well lit for evening tennis, plenty of open time for member play, a host of weekly scheduled activities and open community access times.

OTA Community Tennis Leagues

The Ontario Tennis Association in partnership with Tennis Canada is excited to pilot a new program in the Ontario SouthWest region – Community Tennis Leagues.
WHAT ARE COMMUNITY TENNIS LEAGUES? Community Tennis Leagues are for players looking to connect and organize friendly matches with similarly skilled players in their community. Community Tennis Leagues provides a platform for players to track their matches, scores and progress while being able to win prizes along the way.
WHO CAN JOIN? Community Tennis Leagues are open to all players over the age of 18. League registration is organized into three divisions based on skill level: beginner (ready for my first match of the season), intermediate and advance.
HOW DOES IT WORK? 1. Select your local area and the appropriate division based on your skill level 2. Register for the upcoming session and we’ll put you in box with 6-8 other players 3. Arrange matches when and where you like based on the contact info provided 4. Enter your match results online and win prizes.
WHEN DOES THE LEAGUE START? As a part of the pilot project, we will be organizing 2 sessions: Session 1: August 15 to September 18, 2022 – Registration Opens: July 29 Session 2: September – October (tentative)
WHERE? The pilot season will be hosted across the SouthWest Ontario, with leagues setup in following areas: (1) Halton (Oakville + Milton) (2) Burlington Area (3) Hamilton Area (4) Niagara North (5) Niagara South Players are welcome to register into multiple areas.
