The Town of Pelham is inviting residents and local businesses to showcase their gardening creativity with the return of the Miracle-Gro Best Garden Contest. Hosted in partnership with Miracle-Gro, the Pelham Garden Club, and the Pelham Communities in Bloom initiative, the contest celebrates the pride Pelham residents take in making the town beautiful, sustainable, and welcoming.
Temporary Road Closure Notice
The Town of Pelham invites residents to join a series of special events to honour National Indigenous Peoples Day, with activities taking place on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 2025. These gatherings recognize the rich cultures, histories, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and encourage reflection.
The Town of Pelham's regular council meeting was held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Pelham Municipal Building at 20 Pelham Town Hall.
The Town of Pelham is continuing the rural roadside mowing program beginning on June 9, 2025. The initial cut, occurring over the next three weeks, weather permitting, mows from the road to the bottom of the ditch in rural areas. The cut assists in controlling weeds, ticks and other invasive species. The mowing also assists in improving road drainage and sight lines for vehicles.
Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham is excited to offer 2025 specialty camps for senior campers aged five and up. Specialty camps run during select weeks between June 30 and August 29 and include Skate & Scooter Camp, Little Medical School, Multi-Sport Camp, and Music Camp. With most general day camp weeks already full in Pelham, these themed programs provide families with an excellent alternative for engaging and high-quality summer experiences.
Second Spongy Moth second aerial spraying scheduled for Hillcrest Park on Friday
The Town of Pelham will be conducting the second aerial spraying in Hillcrest Park, where a notable increase in spongy moth activity has been identified.
The Town of Pelham proudly announces the completion of its New Official Plan - Picturing Pelham. This project marks a significant milestone for Pelham as it is the first municipality in the Niagara Region to finalize a New Official Plan since the removal of Planning Authority from the Region of Niagara by the Province. On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Town Council adopted By-law No. 28 2025 to approve the New Official Plan. The document will now be submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for final approval under the Planning Act.

The Town of Pelham will be conducting aerial spraying in Hillcrest Park, where a notable increase in spongy moth activity has been identified.
