Town of Pelham - YOUth Matter

The mission of the Town of Pelham's Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is to provide a communication link between the youth of Pelham and the Pelham Town Council. The needs of the youth may be addressed and action can be taken to enrich the quality of life, health and well-being of youth in our community.

2021 Youth Survey & Virtual Forum

MYAC is excited to hear from you! In a year where face to face communication has been limited, MYAC has created an online survey to help gain ideas and prospective from youth within Pelham! Whether you go to school or live in Pelham, we want to hear from you through our online survey! The goal of this survey is to make sure the voices of youth are heard and advocate for change based on your ideas and opinions.

Once you complete the survey, you are automatically registered to attend the Virtual Youth Forum taking place on May 20, 2021. This Virtual Forum will allow youth to further share their ideas, network with others, and see the ideas provided in the survey come to life. The Virtual Forum will feature a keynote speaker, brainstorming sessions, and the chance to win some great prizes!

MYAC's Objectives:

  • To identify and bring forward issues which will have an impact on Pelham youth.
  • To keep Town Council informed of important matters affecting youth.
  • To act as a positive advocate for youth.
  • To promote positive meaningful activities for youth in partnership with the Community.
  • To actively seek input from youth on important matters.
  • To provide leadership experience for youth.
