Pelham receives over $200K in provincial transportation funding

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham has received $210,199 in transit funding for 2023-2025. The funding is part of the Province's Community Transportation Grant Program. Pelham is the only municipality in Niagara to receive an allocation in the latest round of funding.

Household-Only Dining Restriction Now Lifted in Niagara

With local COVID-19 case numbers and reproductive rate meeting designated thresholds, the restriction on dining with household members only as part of section 22 orders in Niagara, is being lifted for parties dining outdoors as of today, Thursday, June 24, 2021. Summer is here. Thanks to everyone who has burlap trapped their tree or is helping to reduce the gypsy moth population. It is now more than halfway through the gypsy moth larval stage, and you should be seeing some caterpillars in the next couple of weeks preparing for adulthood. Like other moths and butterflies, these caterpillars will build themselves a pupal case to help protect themselves during this metamorphosis process.

Canboro Road water interruption

Residents living on Canboro Road between Cream Street and Balfour Street will have water services temporarily interrupted as a water valve on Canboro near Sunset is replaced on Tuesday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.
In addition to water interruptions, there will be pressure fluctuations throughout the day in Fenwick.

20202 Budget Schedule set
The capital budget process has been scheduled for completion in December 2021 to enable staff to plan and prepare for 2022. The operating and water and wastewater budgets have been scheduled for completion in January 2022.
