Pelham, ON – As summer months approached this year, the shelves at Pelham Cares began to look bare. The Pelham Canada Day planning group knew that this year’s modified Canada Day events could provide a unique opportunity to help restock the shelves.

UPDATE 1 - DATE CHANGE
Residents living on Pelham Street between Bacon Lane and John Street will have water services interrupted for a new watermain connection on Wednesday August 4 from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. and Friday August 6 from 12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. Services will no longer be interrupted Thursday August 5.

Mural in Marlene Stewart Streit Park honours its namesake

Pelham, ON – Marlene Stewart Streit Park has another attraction to offer the community. Art students from E.L Crossley Secondary School recently completed a mural that pays tribute to the Park’s namesake who is one of the most recognized female golfers in the history of the game.
Marlene Stewart Streit, the inspiration for the mural compilation, was taught to play golf, at Lookout Point Country Club in Pelham. She began competitive play in 1949. ...
