With a late-in-the-season blast of winter weather and heavy precipitation over the last few days, the Town has received several reports of slick roads, rising water levels in ditches and low-laying areas and soft shoulders on rural roads.

The Town of Pelham encourages all motorists to drive to road conditions and to employ added caution when travelling in areas that have received heavy rainfall or snow.

During these times we would like to remind drivers to allow for extra space...

Council United in Rejection of Regional Councillor’s MotionAt the April 3, 2017, Pelham Town Council meeting, unanimous support was given to a motion put forth by Councillor Gary Accursi, wholly rejecting Niagara Regional Councillor David Barrick’s motion “Regional Taxpayer Affordability Guide”, as presented at the March 30, 2017, Niagara Regional Council meeting.

The Town of Pelham has made available the document circulated to members of Niagara Regional Council on March 30, 2017, in response to Regional Councillor David Barrick’s motion “Regional Taxpayer Affordability Guidelines”.

Pelham Switches Off for Earth Hour 2017

On Saturday, March 25, 2017, the Town of Pelham will join millions of people around the world for Earth Hour 2017. From 8:30-9:30 p.m., all non-essential lighting and electrical equipment that do not compromise public safety or interfere with essential services will be turned off at:

  • Fire Stations #1, #2 & #3
  • Pelham Arena, Old Pelham Town Hall, Parks
  • Tice Road and Park Lane Operations Centres
  • Libraries
  • Town Hall
  • Downtown Arches
