In order to ensure that consistent customer service is available to Town of Pelham residents, businesses, and visitors, the municipal offices will maintain regular office hours (8:30am – 4:30pm) according to the calendar image.

Immediately following the opening of a traffic calming chicane on Haist Street north of Highway 20, on Monday, November 21, 2016, a construction error was discovered. Staff have promptly responded with short-term measures and the contractor is scheduled to return for permanent repairs as soon as possible.

On Monday, November 21, 2016, Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner and Mayor Dave Augustyn accepted a $12,000 donation from Enbridge to help enhance emergency communications equipment for Pelham Fire Services.

On Monday, October 3, 2016, Council proved its ongoing commitment to ensuring Pelham is a safe, walkable and cyclable community by approving an additional $196,952 for a new continuous asphalt sidewalk along Highway 20 from Timmsdale Crescent to E.L. Crossley Secondary School.

Pelham Signs Community Centre Construction Contract

On Monday, October 3, 2016, Council approved a standard Canadian Construction Documents Committee contract for construction management with Ball Construction Inc. for the Pelham Community Centre.

The contract stipulates a guaranteed price of $36,204,777 for the new community centre, and includes an incentive for cost savings which will be credited 60% to the Town and 40% to Ball Construction.
