Summerfest a top-100 event for fifth year in a row

Pelham, ON – For the fifth time in as many years, Pelham’s marquee summer showcase, Summerfest, is a Festival & Events Ontario (FEO) top-100 festival and event.

Announced on February 28, 2019, during the annual FEO conference, Summerfest is one of just five festivals and events in Niagara to receive the distinction.

Last day to fill out Pelham Arena lands survey

For the last two weeks the Town of Pelham has sought resident input on the sale/retention of 1120 Haist Street - the old Pelham Arena lands.

There will be no change to the locations of existing parkland, paddle tennis club, playground equipment, and wooded area along the west side; these areas will all be retained by the Town. Only the area currently occupied by the arena building, parking area, outside storage/works area, and multi-purpose court is under consideration.

Power outages, road clsoures, clean up

Please be advised that the Meridian Community Centre is currently without power and the building is closed until power is restored. Staff are onsite and updates will be provided as they become available.

Pelham Town Square, under the arches is closed due to damage a section of the arches sustained from the high winds. This area of Pelham Town Square will be closed until the damage can be further assessed and Town staff can safely work on a repair.

Interim property tax bills coming due

Interim property tax bills were mailed out earlier this month.

The Town of Pelham is reminding residents that the first property tax payment of 2019 is due Thursday, February 28, 2019. Payments must be made by 4:30 p.m. on the due date regardless of whether a tax bill has been received.
