Compost giveaway to support local charities May 8 - May 13, 2017May 8 to May 13 (while quantities last), residents of Niagara region can collect up to 3 bags of compost per household during regular business hours. Each bag of compost is 20 litres in size. Mumps is a viral infection of the salivary glands, that is spread person-to-person through coughing, sneezing, talking or coming into contact with a person’s saliva (i.e. sharing drinks and food, kissing). Street sweeping is set to begin in Pelham shortly and will be completed by approximately May 19, 2017. Residents are asked to please NOT park on streets during sweeping operations.
