Notice of temporary road closure.
Please be advised of the following road closure under the arches in downtown Fonthill.
Where: Under the arches between Pelham Street and Pelham Town Square.
Why: Installation of shade sails.
When: Thursday June 22, 2023 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Alternate Route: Please use an alternate route.

Oak Wilt has been found in a residential area in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
This is the first confirmed detection of Oak Wilt in Canada.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is working with other federal, provincial and municipal governments to survey the area and determine next steps. Report any potentially infected trees to OakWiltReportingOntario-Fletrissementduchene@inspection.gc.ca.

Pelham removes Fire Ban as of June 13, 2023 due to improved conditions

Pelham, ON – Effective Tuesday June 13, 2023, Town of Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner has removed the open-air burn ban initially issued on June 7, 2023.
Open-air burning and fireworks are permitted in the Town of Pelham following the lifting of the ban.
