Municipal Grant Allocation

On Monday, May 3, 2021, Council received the Municipal Grant Allocation report from staff, approving the 2021 Municipal Grant allocations of $6,948 waived facility fees; $30,700 cash allocations; and $10,600 of estimated in-kind labour requests, as outlined in the 2021 Municipal Grant Summary.

More COVID-19 vaccination clinic dates are available for booking

From the Niagara Region The provincial government has announced that individuals 55 years old or older in 2021 are now eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment via the provincial booking portal. As demand for appointments increases, the following Niagara Region Public Health clinic dates have been added to the portal:

  • May 9-10 – Fort Erie, Leisureplex
  • May 15-16 – Niagara-on-the-Lake, Community Centre

Highest-risk individuals with health conditions & an essential caregiver can book COVID vaccination

As we work toward protecting the most vulnerable members in our community against COVID-19, Niagara residents who meet the highest-risk health conditions criteria, as well as their essential caregiver, can book a vaccine appointment by calling the provincial call centre at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007).

Patient Eligibility

Individuals with the following highest-risk health conditions are eligible

  • Organ transplant recipients (including patients waitlisted for transplant)
