Christmas Market event cancelled; familiar favourites preserved in other Town events

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham’s annual Christmas Market event, part of the overall Christmas in Pelham festivities, will not occur this year.
After careful consideration and discussion of Provincial and Regional Public Health guidelines and recommendations, the decision to cancel the event is in the best interest of health and safety pursuant to Public Health guidelines.

ROAD CLOSURE - Station Street between Highway 20 and College Street

Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Why: road paving
Pelham Town Square and Summersides at Station Street will also be closed. Access to homes north of Summersides can be made via Highway 20.

Pelham Street north speed study results
As a result of a petition for a three-way stop sign at Pelham Street and Shorthills Place received by Council in October, the Town of Pelham conducted a speed study, presenting the results to Council on November 16.
As a Collector Road, Pelham Street's function is to move traffic to and from local roads, as well as deliver traffic from rural areas and neighbouring municipalities to the north.
