TOWN CREWS SALTING AND SANDING

A band of freezing rain came through our area last night and into this morning as temperatures dropped below freezing. Town staff worked throughout the night to sand and salt our roads in response. Please drive and walk with care as slippery conditions may still exist. Also be aware that vehicles are not permitted to park on Town roads while Winter Operations are underway.

In order to ensure that consistent customer service is available to Town of Pelham residents, businesses, and visitors, the municipal offices will maintain regular office hours (8:30am – 4:30pm) according to the calendar image. 

Please be advised that Pelham offices will close December 23th at noon and remain closed on December 26th - 27th for Christmas Day and Boxing Day observance. The Pelham Arena will also be closed on December 25th and 26th, and will be open for the Silverstick...

Pelham Lifts Open Air Burning Ban

After weeks of hot, dry and humid weather conditions, the Town of Pelham has lifted the open air burning ban in place since June 24, 2016.

On Tuesday, August 16, 2016, Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner lifted the open air burning ban because rainfall amounts have sufficiently eliminated the risk of fires burning out of control and quickly spreading to nearby grass and plants. On Monday, Niagara Public Health also lifted the most recent Heat Alert issued for the region.
