COYWOLF SPOTTED ON FORESTHILL CRESCENT

Coywolf is an informal term for a canid hybrid descended from coyotes and gray wolves. 

It has been brought to our attention that a Coywolf has been spotted on several occasions on Foresthill Crescent in Fonthill.  Please always be aware while out walking and to ensure the safety of your pets, please watch them at all times.

Pelham Free Family Day Activities

Niagara Region Transit Pilot Program Extended

Niagara Region Transit service has been extended. At its meeting on Jan. 19, 2017 Niagara Regional Council approved a motion to extend the Niagara Region Transit pilot program until the work of the Inter-municipal Transit Working Group and decisions on the consolidation of transit services in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland are complete.

Region Supports Bid to Bring 2021 Canada Summer Games to Niagara

Regional Council has voted to support a bid to bring the 2021 Canada Summer Games to Niagara in the form of a $10.35 million financial commitment.

With last night’s vote, the Region joins together with Niagara’s 12 local municipalities in order to make their application by the end of the month. The final selection of the Canadian Summer Games host will be publically announced in late March or early April of 2017 through a media event.
