Proposed Change to the Composition of Regional Council
One Additional Member for West Lincoln

Pursuant to sections 218 and 219 of the Municipal Act, 2001, Niagara Regional Council at its
meeting of July 20, 2017 passed a resolution requesting the Minister of Municipal Affairs and
Housing to approve a Regulation to change the composition of Regional Council by adding an
additional member for the Township of West Lincoln.

Special Meeting of Council – KPMG Public Presentation

What: The Town of Pelham has scheduled a Special Meeting of Council to receive KPMGs findings, with costs to undertake the audit,  of all transactions and documents related to the 3.3 acre Parkland Over-Dedication to the Town by Fonthill Gardens and a 2015 Excess Parkland Dedication Agreement between the Town and Fonthill Gardens. KPMG has also been asked to present all of its financial findings and conclusions, including pertinent updates...

Welland & District Humane Society, a Pelham partner

As part of their ongoing work, the Humane Society is authorized by the Town to contact residents in a variety of ways, including door-to-door, to inform and educate Pelham residents.

Annual Municipal Drain Open House

The Town of Pelham will hold their annual Municipal Drain Open House on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Scheduled for 4-6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Pelham Town Hall, the open house will provide residents an opportunity to learn more about municipal drains and their maintenance.

Pelham Transit to alter route in the event of Niagara College strike

Please note: This transit change will only occur IF Niagara College goes on strike.

Pelham Transit riders take note that should Niagara College strike on Monday, October 16, 2017, Pelham Transit will not cross the picket line to drop off or pick up students.  As most transit will be rerouted, so too will Pelham Transit, operating from the corner of First Avenue and Woodlawn.

Connections to Welland Transit, Brock Link, and NOTL Link will also be available at this location.
