WHEREAS, it is estimated that between 500,000 and 600,000 people in Canada are living with hepatitis B and C and are at risk for developing cirrhosis, liver failure, liver cancer and non-liver related manifestations; and

News Brief

April 7, 2017

With a late-in-the-season blast of winter weather and heavy precipitation over the last few days, the Town has received several reports of slick roads, rising water levels in ditches and low-laying areas and soft shoulders on rural roads.

The Town of Pelham encourages all motorists to drive to road conditions and to employ added caution when travelling in areas that have received heavy rainfall or snow.

Council United in Rejection of Regional Councillor’s MotionAt the April 3, 2017, Pelham Town Council meeting, unanimous support was given to a motion put forth by Councillor Gary Accursi, wholly rejecting Niagara Regional Councillor David Barrick’s motion “Regional Taxpayer Affordability Guide”, as presented at the March 30, 2017, Niagara Regional Council meeting.
