Pelham pool to open this summer
The Pelham pool at Marlene Stewart Streit Park will open this summer, though an opening date is not yet known. Council passed a motion on June 1, 2020, approving the pool’s opening, pending Provincial and Regional permissions and guidelines.

COVID-19 Financial Impact Forecast
As a result of COVID-19, Pelham is forecasting a tax levy operating deficit of approximately $408,666 to the end of June as a result of COVID-19 which could increase to approximately $849,820 by December 31, should the present situation remain unchanged until the end of the year.

Moment of remembrance
Mayor Marvin Junkin: "There is a noticeable void in Council tonight. Councillor Mike Ciolfi is not with us. Mike passed away on April 13 and his presence around this horseshoe, virtual or not, will be profoundly missed by staff, Council, and the people he represented.

Summersides Mews
Council heard from Drew Toth and his team regarding the Summersides Mews development, a parcel of land near the community centre, on Wellspring Way and Summersides Boulevard.
Council had previously discussed the parking situation for the development, questioning whether the 61 onsite parking spaces and the 17 curbside stalls were adequate, given the belief that drivers would use the MCC parking lot instead.

Odourous Industry Nuisance bylaw passes
