Victoria Day in Pelham: Monday May 22, 2023
Closures:
The Meridian Community Centre, Town of Pelham Municipal Offices and all administrative services will be closed in observance of Victoria Day on Monday, May 22, 2023. Regular business hours will resume for Tuesday May 23, 2023.
Essential Services:
For any after hours emergency situations which are related to water, sewer or road conditions, and where there is imminent danger to public or private property, please call 905-892-2607 and follow the prompts or dial 905-734-0892 directly.
For all other non-emergency requests, please visit pelham.ca or send a Spot It Share It request.
Waste Collection:
Niagara Region will continue to operate the regular pick-up for waste collection, there are no changes to waste collection on Monday May 22, 2023.

Fireworks:
Consumer Fireworks may only be used on Victoria Day, May 22, 2023. Before you decide to purchase and use fireworks, ensure you know the laws, know your space, and read all instructions. Aside from federal laws, the Town of Pelham has a fireworks by-law. Refer to the safety instructions on the fireworks label for minimum stand-off distances for you and spectators. Make sure you look up and ensure there are no overhead obstructions in range of your fireworks. Know how your fireworks will act and work in your space. Once they are lit they can't be turned off!
