"Be Riehl, Be You" Skate Park T-Shirt Fundraiser
Sam Reynolds needs your help to fundraise $5,000 for the Isaac Riehl Skate Park! The nine-year-old is selling T-shirts featuring his unique design of Isaac Riehl’s favorite things. Adult and youth sizes are available for $15 each at theriehlskatepark.com. 100% of the proceeds are being donated toward the skate park and the Town of Pelham is matching the funds for a grand total of $10,000. In February 2011 the newly elected Council and senior staff continued their strategic focus toward the vision for Pelham by engaging in a full day strategic planning session. Council members had the opportunity to bring forward the desires of the constituents that they heard during the municipal election campaign. It was an opportunity to bring the voice of the community to the plan.
They began the session by redefining the mission and vision for the Town. This process ignited a new found passion and excitement for the future and revealed a united bond and strength moving forward...

Riehl Skate Park Grand Prize Winner in Aviva Community Fund Competition
On Tuesday January 29, 2013 E.L. Crossley Secondary School hosted CTV's Canada AM for the announcement of the Aviva Community Funding. An enthusiastic crowd from all parts of our community were on hand to hear that Aviva is donating $115,000 towards the proposed skate park. The Town of Pelham matched this donation with an additional $115,000. Donations are also flowing in from the community and the Town will continue to match donations. A big congratulations to Mariah Bunz who initiated the application to Aviva and to all that have contributed to it's success!

New Comprehensive Library Services Study Underway:
Pelham Public Library is pleased to announce that the Town of Pelham has engaged the services of Performance Concepts, a company with extensive experience in municipal and library consulting. Under the leadership of Todd McDonald, the company is undertaking a study of current library services and buildings in the Town. Including consideration of future growth in Pelham, demographic trends, future library directions and with public input Performance Concepts will make recommendations to the Town of Pelham and the Library Board on the Town’s future needs for library services and how best to address them. The study is expected to be completed by May, so make certain your voice is heard!
