In Memory of Mark Frerotte

The Town of Pelham Staff and Council are deeply saddened by the loss of their fellow co-worker and friend, Mark Frerotte. Mark passed suddenly and unexpectedly while at work on the morning of Thursday, April 26, 2012
Mark worked at the Town of Pelham as the Manager of Public Infrastructure since May 12, 2008 and was a very dedicated and wonderful part of the Town’s staff. He primarily worked out of the Operations Centre however he could be seen throughout the Town coordinating efforts to keep the Town of Pelham infrastructure current and safe. Mark was instrumental in establishing an in-house Fleet Technician for vehicle maintenance and repairs, coordinating numerous infrastructure improvements which helped bring safety and security of Town Assets to current standards and for the increase in technology he spearheaded to change outdated processes. These are just a few of Mark’s many accomplishments with the Town since he began his employment and his passion and dedication will be deeply missed by all those who had a chance to work with him.
Although he was very dedicated to his work, it was obvious working with him that his first priority was his family. Mark talked fondly and often of his wife Mary-Ann and their children Stephen (Keri) and Rebecca and of course his most loyal dog, Roskoe.
In addition to his work at the Town of Pelham Mark was a very dedicated volunteer fire fighter in Fort Erie for over 30 years earning rank of District Chief at Fort Erie’s Fire Station #1.
Mark will not soon be forgotten by Town of Pelham Staff and Council. We will forever remember with fondness the characteristics he held close and all the things he touched at the Town that were better because of him.
Our thoughts will remain with Mark and his family always,
Town Staff and Council
