On July 1, 2023, a Canada Day Celebration will take place in Harold Black Park.
The Town of Pelham is pleased to offer a free family-friendly event with children’s activities, local food, artisan, and community group vendors, live entertainment on stage and a fireworks display.
At 4:00pm, the Grand Parade will travel down Haist Street from A.K. Wigg School to the Harold Black Park.
Harold Black Park events include:
3:00 - 7:00 pm - Rotary Club of Fonthill Children's Area. Bouncers, archery, sno-cones, and more!
4:00 pm - The Grand Parade will travel down Haist Street.
4:00 - 9:00 pm - Local food and artisan vendors on site.
4:00 - 6:00 pm - Meet the Floats from the parade
4:00 - 4:45 pm – Jimmy Marando Swing Band
5:00 pm - Welcome Ceremony following Canada Day Grande Parade arrival
5:00 - 8:00 pm - Community Art Project
5:00 - 6:15 pm – Hunter Stull Musician
6:30 - 7:45 pm – No More New Band
7:00 pm - Fonthill Lions Poutine Eating Contest
8:00-10:00 pm - Wet Knights Band
9:55 pm - Singing of O' Canada
10:00 pm - Fireworks, with support from the Fonthill Lions Club.

Closures:
The parade route rolling closures will be limited to Haist street only from 3:00-5:00 pm on July 1. Please use an alternate route.
The Town of Pelham Municipal Offices and administrative services as well as the Meridian Community Centre will be closed on July 1, 2023.
- The Meridian Community Centre will reopen on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
- Town of Pelham municipal offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
