With a postal disruption currently underway, residents in Pelham are likely to experience the effects of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) rolling strike action. Neighbouring St. Catharines and Welland post offices are also striking.
The Town of Pelham asks residents to avoid sending time-sensitive information and payments by mail to Town Hall during the strike.

Here’s a few things to be conscious of:
Municipal Correspondence:
During a postal disruption, any public notices or time-sensitive correspondence required by legislation will be delivered by the Town or courier service.
If time-sensitive information is required by the municipality from a resident, the Town asks that residents deliver, in person at Town Hall, the information in a sealed envelope addressed to a specific department or employee. Additionally, information can be sent electronically. To access the staff directory for email addresses visit: www.pelham.ca/contact.
Paying a bill?
If necessary, residents can pick up their bills from Town Hall or request them electronically.
To pay a bill, residents can do so via online banking or by coming to Town Hall and paying in cash, cheque or debit card. Cheques can also be sealed in an envelope and dropped in the 24 hour mail slot located at the lower level entrance on the east side of Town Hall. Do not deposit cash in the mail slot.
