What’s one of the greatest things about living in our vibrant, creative and caring community? Surely one of the things is the fantastic, family-friendly festivals and events we put on with community support year-round. So if you’re one of the thousands who greatly enjoy and appreciate these festivals and events, why not consider lending your skills and time to help make them even better?
The Town of Pelham is looking for exceptionally talented volunteers who are energetic, creative, imaginative, helpful and compassionate to join our festivals and events team as “Special Event Ambassadors”.
As a Special Event Ambassador you get to help organize and run our signature events like Pelham Summerfest, Canada Day, Christmas in Pelham, various Thursday Night Activities and so on. At the same time you can hone your skills while bringing lots of smiles and joy to your fellow residents. Best of all, you will make new friends, have fun and give back to the community.
We provide all the necessary training to ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed as necessary, and having First Aid/CPR training is not mandatory, but definitely an asset.
Interested high school students are welcome to use their involvement as a Special Event Ambassadors toward their mandatory community involvement hours.
Application forms are available on pelham.ca/application-forms/special-event-ambassadors and will help us best match your interests and skills with the numerous festivals and events we organize.
