Notice of temporary intersection closure due to Phase 4 of the Pelham Street reconstruction project. Local access will be provided to all residences and businesses.

Where: Pelham Street and Quaker Road intersection.

Why: Watermain construction as part of the Pelham Street Phase 4 Reconstruction Project.

When: August 1, 2023 to August 11, 2023

Alternate Route: Please use alternate route (Foss Road to Haist Street and Pancake Lane to Haist Street).

Why: Road Reconstruction of Pelham Street from Spruceside Crescent south entrance to Pelham/Welland boundary including new sidewalks, watermain, road surface, bike lanes, and drainage improvements.

Pelham Summerfest takes place July 13-16 in Pelham and sections of roadways in downtown Fonthill are closed to allow for foot traffic throughout the event.

Please be advised of the road closures and times when planning your Pelham Summerfest itinerary. Businesses remain open.

Notice of temporary road closure due to a tree removal on Memorial Drive.

Please be advised of the following temporary road closure.

Where: Section of Memorial Drive between Maple Street and Balfour Street. 

Why: Tree removal.

When: Friday, July 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Alternate Route: Please use an alternate route.  

Notice of temporary road closure due to a culvert replacement on River Road.

Please be advised of the following temporary road closure.

Where: Section of River Road between Cream Street and Balfour Street. 

Why: Culvert Replacement.

When: Beginning on July 4, 2023 the section of River Road will be closed for approximately two weeks while the culvert is replaced.  

Alternate Route: Please use an alternate route.  Detour signs are in place at closure points.
