Joint Letter from the Lower-Tier Municipalities of Niagara Region

The Town of Pelham is celebrating another successful event year after receiving three awards from Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) at the 2026 FEO “SUSTAIN” Conference, held February 23–25 in Kitchener. Both Pelham Summerfest and the Pelham Summer Chill Series have once again been named among the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario, recognizing their continued excellence and positive impact on Pelham. 

The Town of Pelham is inviting residents to share their thoughts on governance in the Niagara Region. While some community members have already provided input, Mayor Marvin Junkin wants to ensure that every Pelham resident has the opportunity to be heard. Whether you support or oppose potential changes, your perspective matters. Feedback can be submitted through the online form or by emailing governancereview@pelham.ca

The Town of Pelham has been recognized with an Age-Friendly Communities Award, celebrating its ongoing commitment to creating inclusive spaces and programs that support older adults. Town representatives received the award at the Ontario Age-Friendly Community Recognition Ceremony on January 18, 2026. The event was hosted by the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility in Toronto.
