Burn Ban in Effect
As of August 11, 2025 until further notice
Due to ongoing dry conditions, all open-air burning and fireworks are banned until further notice. This includes campfires, brush burns, burn barrels, chimineas, and agricultural burns.
Only exception: Cooking fires in approved campgrounds, allowed from 12 p.m. – 12 a.m. All fires must be fully extinguished after midnight.
If you see an open-air fire, call 9-1-1 immediately.
The Town of Pelham is initiating a Zoning By-law Amendment to address several housekeeping items that have been identified as being needed to be addressed in the Comprehensive Zoning By-law 4481 (2022).

In accordance with the Town of Pelham Public Notice Policy, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pelham hereby gives notice of its intention to update the Procedural By-Law and to repeal and replace By-Law No. 4107(2019), as amended on January 30, 2023 at its regular meeting of council.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pelham passed By-law No.4371 (2021) on September 7, 2021, which adopts amendment no. 12 to the Town of Pelham Official Plan under Section 22 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.
