Due to the current winter weather, the Town of Pelham has declared a significant Weather Event related to Snow Accumulation on Roads and Sidewalks and the potential for whiteout conditions due to blowing snow. Roads and Sidewalks within the Town of Pelham have experienced a significant accumulation of snow. Winds gusting near 70 km/h will result in very poor visibility in blowing snow into tomorrow.
The public should expect significant delays in snow clearing in residential areas, sidewalks, and parking lots. Road conditions may change rapidly due to drifting and blowing snow.
Residents are advised to take every precaution while travelling until the storm subsides and driving conditions improve.
