Town of Pelham to Host Carousel Players’ Pop-Up Event at Meridian Community Centre

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham has partnered with Carousel Players to host a Pop-Up event on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Meridian Community Centre, as part of the activities in advance of the 2025 Niagara Children’s Festival.

The Carousel Players’ Pop-Up event offers a half-day of high-energy experiences designed for families. This event includes two theatre performances, Pop! Pop! for ages 2–4 and Hare & Tortoise for ages 4–12.

“It is exciting to welcome Carousel Players back to the Meridian Community Centre to delight the youngest Pelham residents,” said Kristina Clint, Manager of Recreation, Culture and Wellness. “This partnership reflects the town’s ongoing commitment to offering arts and cultural activities that allow for creative opportunities for all ages.”

The event will occur on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill. The day kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with Pop! Pop!, a 50-minute sensory-friendly performance tailored for children ages 2 to 4. At 11:30 a.m., audiences ages 4 to 12 can enjoy Hare & Tortoise, a whimsical 60-minute retelling of the beloved Aesop’s fable. Tickets for both performances are $10.

Following each performance, families are invited to enjoy creative craft activities and participate in an interactive, sensory scavenger hunt designed for families to complete together.
