Second Spongy Moth aerial spraying scheduled for Hillcrest Park, weather dependant

The Town of Pelham will be conducting aerial spraying in Hillcrest Park, where a notable increase in spongy moth activity has been identified.

The treatment will be carried out using a twin-engine aircraft.

  • When: The second application will take place Friday, May 30, 2025 – between 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. and lasting approximately 20 minutes, dependent on weather conditions. 
  • Where: Hillcrest Park - 199 Pancake Lane, Fonthill
  • What: Zimmer Air will make passes over the area using a twin-engine aircraft to complete aerial spraying for Spongy Moth.
While residential properties are not directly treated, nearby residents may observe helicopter activity. Town staff will be present to manage traffic control during the spraying period.
