Burn Ban in Effect

As of July 15, 2026 until further notice

Due to the air quality as a result of the northwestern wildfire smoke, all open-air burning and fireworks are banned until further notice. This includes campfires, brush burns, burn barrels, chimneys, and agricultural burns.

 

Only exception: Cooking fires in approved campgrounds, allowed from 12 p.m. – 12 a.m. All fires must be fully extinguished after midnight.

 

If you see an open-air fire, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Road Work Construction Notice: Luffman Drive between Sulphur Springs and 200 Luffman Drive

Where: Luffman Drive between Sulphur Springs and 200 Luffman Drive

Why: Road Resurfacing 
When: Monday July 20th – Wednesday July 22nd

Working hours will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The road will remain open, but there may be periods of disruption. Crews on site will accommodate access and egress as required.
