Foss Road Sewer Replacement Project
Project Overview
This project will be carried out by Nexterra Substructures Incorporated. Associated Engineering has been retained as the Contract Administrator and will provide full-time inspection services on behalf of the Town.
Construction Schedule
- Start Date: July 6, 2026
- Substantial Completion: December 2026 (weather permitting)
- Final Completion: Spring 2027
Scope of Work
- Replacement of the existing sewer
- Trench restoration on Foss Road (Church Street to the Regional Pumping Station)
- Tunnelling beneath the CPKC Railway
What to Expect During Construction
Driveway Access
- Driveway access may be temporarily affected
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice will be provided if access is disrupted
- Town staff or representatives will contact you regarding your driveway details
Traffic & Road Closures
- Temporary road closures may be required
- Traffic congestion is expected at times
- Traffic control personnel and marked detours will be provided
- All closures will be minimized as much as possible
Pedestrian Safety
- Safe pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
- Please use caution when travelling through the construction zone
