Pelham Issues Voting Location Correction Notice for Ward Two and Three Residents

Pelham Issues Voting Location Correction Notice for Ward Two and Three Residents
October 9, 2026
Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham is asking residents of Ward Two and Ward Three to check their mailboxes next week for a yellow voting location correction notice.
This notice was mailed after the municipality became aware that election notices sent to residents in Wards Two and Three incorrectly listed institutional voting locations as polling stations for all residents.
Please note that residents in Wards Two and Three will only be able to vote on Election Day (October 26) at polling stations located at the Meridian Community Centre. Residents in these wards may also cast their ballots on an advance voting date or through online voting.
“Elections are a key part of the democratic process, as they give residents the opportunity to make sure their voices are heard at Town of Pelham council,” said Town Clerk Holly Wilford. “The Town of Pelham is making every effort to ensure residents have the correct information about where they should vote on election day to encourage the highest voter turnout possible.”
Individuals living at institutional voting locations will still be able to cast their ballots at these locations on October 26 and are not impacted by this correction notice.
For a complete list of voting locations, the certified candidates list, additional details on how to vote online, or other election-related questions, residents can visit www.pelham.ca/election.
Residents can also contact the Clerk’s Office at clerks@pelham.ca or by phone at 905-980-6657.
