2026 Pelham Summerfest Road Closures

The 14th annual award-winning Pelham Summerfest will take place in Pelham from July 16 to 19, 2026. Sections of the roadways in the downtown Fonthill area will be closed to allow for event setup and foot traffic throughout the event.

Visitors are encouraged to consider alternative methods of transportation to get to the downtown core for Pelham Summerfest whenever possible, including walking or biking to the area.

“Pelham Summerfest is all about bringing our community together, and our complimentary shuttle services help make that possible,” said Associate Director of Community Services - Strategic Initiatives, Programming and Events, Sarah Leach. “With two routes operating throughout the weekend, residents from across the Town can leave the car at home and enjoy a safe, convenient ride to the festival.”

For those driving to the event, please review the following road closures when planning your Pelham Summerfest itinerary:

• Pelham Street from Highway 20 to Port Robinson Road will be closed for Summerfest starting Friday, July 17, 2026, at 8:00 am, and will be reopened Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 8:00 am.
• Pelham Town Square will be closed for Summerfest starting Friday, July 17, 2026, at 8:00 am and will be reopened Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
• Church Hill from Canboro Road to Pelham Street will be closed for Summerfest starting Friday, July 17, 2026, at 8:00 am, and will be reopened Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 8:00 am.
• Station Street will be reopened during Summerfest and will be the detour route for road closures. Detour signage will be posted in the affected area.

Local businesses will remain open during the event.
