11:00am-12:30pm - Bring your skates and helmets and enjoy a Free Family Skate sponsored by the Rotary Club of Fonthill! Rotary Club is accepting donations on behalf of Food 4 Kids.
11:00am-3:00pm – Virtual Reality Simulator where you can ride a rollercoaster or visit other countries brought to you by VR Voyages
11:00am-1pm - The Fabric of Our Being Drop-In Workshop This hands on workshop, hosted by Nadine Williams, will encourage reflection on identity, heritage, and the personal stories that shape who we are. This interactive experience invites community members to participate in a meaningful collaborative quilt project that honours the International Decade for People of African Descent, a United Nations initiative recognizing the contributions, histories and rights of people of African descent worldwide. Participants will help shape the creative direction of a large community quilt by exploring their own experiences and developing an individual 8.5-by-11-inch art tile representing “the fabric of your being.” All materials will be provided, and no prior art experience is required. Participants may also contribute ideas for a tile if they prefer not to create one visually. Through this hands-on workshop, participants will engage with Nadine Williams’ ongoing work, including her poem The Fabric of Our Being. The program encourages reflection on identity, heritage, and the personal stories that shape who we are.
11:00am-3:00pm - The Community Expo in the lobby will provide information on opportunities available to families in Pelham including sports, service clubs, local organizations and more!

11:00am-3:00pm - Face painting fun will be available for all ages!
11:00am-3:00pm - Enjoy some family fun with Laser Tag available in the Accursi Room sponsored by MYAC!
11:00am-3:00pm - Halaloo will be twisting some wild Balloon Creations for families to take home!
1:30m-3:00pm - If you missed the skate in the morning, bring your skates and helmets and enjoy another Free Family Skate.
Looking for some Family Fun after the Family Day Activities? Come on out to the Meridian Community Centre for the Pelham Panthers Junior B hockey game as they take on the Hamilton Kilty B's at 1:30pm!
This game is sponsored by Tim Hortons, allowing families and spectators to attend for free!
The Town of Pelham is accepting applications for the Family Day Community Expo! There is no fee for this registration as it is a way to promote services within Pelham. Preference will be given to Pelham Services, not for profit organizations, service clubs and sports organizations who service Pelham.
If interested, please complete the Family Day 2026 - Town of Pelham Community Expo Application Form no later than Friday, February 7th, 2025.

Family Fun Day at the Meridian Community Centre is the Town of Pelham's Family Day Community Event, a day families look forward to every year. Family Fun Day at the MCC offers residents of all ages a free, active social event featuring free skating, family bounce time and a community expo where residents can learn about all the great community groups, service clubs, and sports organizations within the Town of Pelham.
Family Fun Day at the MCC's success is attributed to community leaders and partners who offer residents an inexpensive, active, and exciting event by attending and contributing to it. Each year more than 3,000 people participate and engage with us and our partners.
Community events are among our strategic plan goals to build strong communities and cultural assets, building civic pride, encouraging local engagement, and attracting people to the community.
