Second Spongy Moth second aerial spraying scheduled for Hillcrest Park on Friday
The Town of Pelham will be conducting the second aerial spraying in Hillcrest Park, where a notable increase in spongy moth activity has been identified.
The Town of Pelham proudly announces the completion of its New Official Plan - Picturing Pelham. This project marks a significant milestone for Pelham as it is the first municipality in the Niagara Region to finalize a New Official Plan since the removal of Planning Authority from the Region of Niagara by the Province. On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Town Council adopted By-law No. 28 2025 to approve the New Official Plan. The document will now be submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for final approval under the Planning Act.

The Town of Pelham will be conducting aerial spraying in Hillcrest Park, where a notable increase in spongy moth activity has been identified.

Now in its fifth year of running the popular “June 30 for 30” campaign, launched in 2021, Pelham continues to lead the way in building a healthy, active, and connected community.
Pelham, ON – With $2,000 in support from the Niagara Community Foundation Summer Camp grant, additional area youth can attend summer camp in Pelham this year.
Sanitary sewer flushing and CCTV works have begun in Pelham. Flusher and camera trucks will be in various locations throughout the Town as they complete these works.
The Meridian Community Centre, Town of Pelham Municipal Offices, and all administrative services will be closed on Monday, May 19, 2025, in observance of Victoria Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
The Town of Pelham is launching a new pilot project to operate the concession at the Meridian Community Centre (MCC). This initiative represents a new approach to enhancing services for residents and visitors.
As part of the pilot, the Town is also inviting residents to take part in a short survey to share feedback on their preferences for the concession. The survey includes questions about menu options, operating hours, and overall expectations, and is designed to guide future decisions about the service.
