This weekly pick up game of basketball is open to players of all abilities. Join us for a warm up and pick up game to enhance your skills and meet other players. This program is 18+.

FlexAgility™ is a mat based floor class designed to improve mobility, joint alignment, core strength and function. It helps us to understand the importance of good posture as it affects bone health and balance and contributes to the management of many conditions.

Using a combination of pilates and traditional muscle conditioning, the stretch and strengthening exercises are geared to the older body. Flexion free options are provided. Small equipment such as bands, mini-bands, small stability balls and discs etc. may be incorporated to enhance the experience. 

Please note: Some experience and familiarity with being on the floor is helpful. If you are not sure if this class is for you please contact Anne at anne@miraclesinmotionfitness.ca.

About the Instructor: Anne Cooke: Senior Fitness Trainer, Instructor, Educator -

Anne brings to Niagara a vast background in movement and fitness. Her career spanned many years in Toronto as an exercise business owner providing corporate fitness programming and in home personal training. Her personal training methods and pilates background formed the basis of the FlexAgility™ program. Anne holds many certifications, a B.F.A. from York University and has received several awards.

A popular instructor and presenter Anne is currently a Master Trainer for the Canadian Centre of Activity & Aging (Western Health Sciences), certifying new and experienced instructors to work with older adults.

Hatha Yoga

Yoga helps tone, lengthen, and strengthen muscles. This gentle form of yoga is perfect for beginners and those with experience. This class focuses on alignment and breath.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Though yoga is beneficial for all, chair yoga is the perfect way for seniors to discover yoga.

Yogalates is a fitness routine that incorporates both Yoga postures, breathing techniques, and Pilates exercises.

Small indoor group training serves as an intimate atmosphere to share your journey through motherhood, while de-stressing, regaining energy (yes energy!) and confidence. All ages are welcome. Bond with your baby, while doing something for yourself. Bring the older children too and be their example for an active lifestyle. Or simply just come by yourself for a more focused session!

Samadhi Meditation invites you into a journey of stillness, presence, and inner clarity. We begin with an opening chant, gentle breathwork, and flowing Qi Gong to prepare the body and calm the mind. From there, we move into mindful walking, each step a meditation in motion, before settling into seated practice with clear, accessible technique. This offering is a sanctuary for anyone seeking peace, focus, and deeper connection, whether you are new to meditation or refining your practice

Salsa: Spice up your life with this energetic Latin dance.

East Coast Swing: Rock and Roll will never die!

Viennese Waltz: The original Waltz of Europe with its rotational movements.

Rumba: A romantic at heart, this is the dance of love!

Quickstep: A dynamic progressive dance done to lively, upbeat music.

Bolero: Take your passion to the next level with this Latin dance.

Samba: Taste the flavours of the Brazilian Carnival!

$100.00/person per session, with discounts if you register for multiple classes. Classes are held at Old Pelham Town Hall (491 Canboro Rd W, Pelham, ON L0S 1C0) This program is for participants 16+.

Registration will open to Pelham Residents at 9:00 am on August 21, and to those outside of Pelham at 9:00 am on August 28.

Leave your legwarmers at home! This 60-minute class is designed to increase your heart rate and improve your cardiovascular health. With half an hour of low-impact movements such as toe taps, marching, knee lifts, and other simple steps set to fun music, this focus makes it suitable for participants with varied fitness levels.

This class also includes strength conditioning, balance and stretching.

A small class size is maintained to allow use of various equipment and customization to meet class abilities.

Selecting a Playing Level

To promote a positive and respectful playing environment, we ask that players register for and attend the session that most accurately reflects their individual skill level. Please select your session honestly and appropriately based on your playing experience.

Please note that program staff will not be evaluating or assigning player levels, and participants are expected to refrain from assessing or policing the skill levels of others. All players are encouraged to demonstrate good sportsmanship and mutual respect both on and off the court.

**What is Recreational Pickleball? This time is an opportunity for those who hope to play the game socially for fun, providing a supportive and light environment. The primary goal for recreational pickleball is enjoyment, with winning and competition being secondary to having a good time and meeting new people.

Pickleball clinics are a great opportunity to strengthen and develop techniques and skills, while learning from an experienced instructor.

Instructors:

Michael Robinson - Michael has taught Pickleball for 47 years introducing Pickleball to elementary and secondary school students, teachers and adults of all ages.  Placed 8th in 2015 Men's Singles OPEN Eastern Canadian Championships.

Lea Holmes - Lea is a certified NCCP pickleball Instructor, who has over 13 years of experience. Lea has medaled in many tournaments, most recently in the 2025 Ontario Provincial Championships. As an instructor, she has enjoyed introducing hundreds of students to the game.

Beginner Clinics 

Level of Play: Beginner - new to 3 months of experience.

Are you new to pickleball and want a better understanding of the game? In this 2-hour clinic, you will learn both types of serve, return of serve, dinking, volleys, positioning on court, how to keep score and pickleball rules. Our experienced instructor will offer personalized tips to improve your technique and help you feel more comfortable on the court. Come join us in a supportive environment, where you can grow as a player and have fun while doing it!

Level of Play: Advanced Beginner - 3 months or more of experience.

This 2 hour clinic is for players who have been playing for a few months and know all the basics but want to sharpen their skills. In this clinic, by implementing a variety of drills, you will learn the soft game, quick hands, third shot drops, drives and how to block them. You will also learn ball placement, body position and footwork, as well as key strategies to play smarter and more confidently.

Intermediate Clinic

Level of Play: Intermediate (3.0-3.5) 

This clinic will focus on consistence and Topspin techniques by covering: Intro to grip changes and technique for use of topspin; Serving: Intro to spin, power and depth; Court positioning and doubles strategy; Return of serve with spin and depth; Third shot/fifth shot strategy; Volley techniques with use of spin and depth strategy; Power smash technique and footwork; Recovery mid court skills; Ground stroke development through spin and power.

Advanced Clinic 

Level of Play: Advanced (3.5+)

This clinic will focus on power, depth and placement strategy by covering: Serving with power and depth; Return of serve with spin and depth; Volley with power, topspin and depth; Intro to doubles positioning/stacking strategies; singles skills for competitive players.

This class is open to all fitness levels and is designed for those who are looking to add a little more challenge and variety to their exercise routine. Beginning with a full body warm up to get the blood pumping, we will progress through circuit style exercises using a variety of equipment, alternating between bursts of movement and rest. We will finish with a cool down, incorporating stretching and movements to improve your balance. By performing variations of strength, cardio, and balance exercises you will achieve a full body workout by targeting all major muscle groups. Modifications can be made for all exercises to meet your goals and needs.

Indoor cycling, often called spinning, is a form of exercise with classes focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity (race days) and recovery. It involves a special stationary exercise bicycle and a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting. Indoor cycling classes are as challenging as they are exhilarating. Benefits of this low impact exercise class include weight loss, improved strength, endurance and stress relief. High energy, cardio and a rocking playlist make this class suitable for all ages and fitness levels! Come give it a spin!
