Burn Ban in Effect
As of August 11, 2025 until further notice
Due to ongoing dry conditions, all open-air burning and fireworks are banned until further notice. This includes campfires, brush burns, burn barrels, chimineas, and agricultural burns.
Only exception: Cooking fires in approved campgrounds, allowed from 12 p.m. – 12 a.m. All fires must be fully extinguished after midnight.
If you see an open-air fire, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Effective Monday, August 11, 2025, Town of Pelham Fire Chief Bob Lymburner has declared an open-air burn ban in Pelham due to continued dry conditions.
There will be no open-air burning or fireworks permitted in the Town of Pelham until further notice.
