The annual Pelham Winterfest Market will be returning to Downtown Fonthill on Friday, December 5, from 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM.

Please join us under the arches for an evening of live music, food and artisan vendors, visits with Santa, and an artificial ice rink! All entertainment is free of charge.

The Outdoor Pelham Winterfest Market takes place under the arches near 20 Pelham Town Square. 

Calling all Pelham Youth! Help us to create this years Town of Pelham Holiday Card!

Artwork will be reviewed by the staff at the Town of Pelham.

Selected illustrations will be chosen for the Town of Pelham’s 2025 Holiday card and all of the artwork received will be displayed throughout the Meridian Community Centre during the holiday season.

The young artists who have their illustrations chosen for the greeting card will be formally recognized at the December council meeting for making this year’s holiday greeting card so special.

Identify: on the back of each submission: first and last name, age, school and phone number

Paper: must be white

Size: regular 8.5” x 11” letter size paper, portrait or landscape
Tools: colourful paints, pastels, markers or coloured pencils (the printing process recognizes more vibrant and vivid colours – no lead pencil please)

Please Avoid: completely black or dark backgrounds, sparkles or glitter

We ask that students submit a hard copy of their design to Pelham Town Hall by no later than Friday, November 14, 2025.

To help the big man in the red suit get messages from all the boys and girls in Pelham, the Town’s Recreation, Culture, and Wellness staff are working with Santa’s elves to get all the children of Pelham letters to the North Pole.

There are two ways the Town has teamed up with the elves to get your letter to Santa:

In person:  Meridian Community Centre, 100 Meridian Way, Fonthill, ON

Starting November 25, you’ll see a red mailbox marked “Santa’s Mailbox” near the Christmas tree through the main entrance. Drop your letter in the mailbox by Friday, December 12, 2025 to ensure Santa has enough time to get you his response. Don’t forget to include your return address!

Email: The Town of Pelham has worked out an arrangement to provide Santa with his own Pelham email address.

For quick and easy letter submissions, you can email Santa your letter to sclaus@pelham.ca. Santa will be checking his email right up until Wednesday, December 17, 2025 before he heads out on his Christmas route!

Bring your children to the Meridian Community Centre for a night of crafts, movies, popcorn and holiday spirit! Spend a fun-filled session making Fused Glass Christmas Trees. Festive decorations to adorn your home, or give-a-way for a wonderful gift! In the workshop, you will learn about the art and craft of fused glass - the melting of glass together to form an art piece.

Create three Christmas Trees by decorating pre-cut blanks with colorful frit, glass stringers, noodles, glass dots and chunks to create your own custom and inspired creations.

The class cost includes instruction, and all the materials to make three Christmas Trees shapes

Approximate Tree sizes are:
1 at 5" tall
1 at 5-1/2" tall
1 at 6" tall

As fused glass projects need to be fired in a kiln, a process that can take up to 16 hours, your Trees will be fired after your session in our studio kilns and available for pick up at the Meridian Community Centre when ready.

No experience in stained glass or fusing is necessary. Our qualified instructors will lead you through your creative experience.

Come one, come all to the Santa Claus Parade in Fenwick! Starting at Bethany Christian Reformed Church on Balfour Street to Canboro Road, through the downtown core of Fenwick to Church St. The parade finishes at Centennial Park.

Little Medical School Winter Break Camps

Little Vet: Reindeer Rescue
December 22 & 23 | Ages 5-10 | $120 | 9am-4pm

Join us at the Old Pelham Town Hall for our Little Vet: Reindeer Rescue Camp! Santa can’t deliver his presents without all of his reindeer in top health. Learn all about how to care for reindeer in this new and exciting program - and bring your very own plush reindeer home with you!

Little Doctor - Future Physician

December 29 & 30 | Ages 5-10 | $120 | 9am-4pm

Section I: Basic anatomy, medical instruments, and prepping for surgery. Through role-play and activities, students will learn the key responsibilities of a doctor and explore the heart, lungs, and digestion. Students will use real medical instruments (stethoscope, reflex hammer, and blood pressure cuff) and practice scrubbing, suturing, and tying knots like a real surgeon. 

Section II: Basic first aid, prescribing medications & exploring key organs. These future doctors will learn about prescriptions, explore the brain and spine, and learn about vital bodily functions through hands-on activities and role-play. Students will build a first aid kit and create models of the brain and spine.

The submission form for the annual Winter Light Tour Competition will open on Friday, November 21, and will close on Monday, December 8.

The finalized Winter Light Tour route will be released on Friday, December 12. Each participating location will receive a lawn sign featuring a QR code for voting. As you explore the tour, be sure to scan the code and vote for your favourite displays!

By purchasing one of the donation items, your gift beautifies the Town and provides a lasting remembrance in honour of a loved one, individual, or group. The Town of Pelham is responsible for the installation of all elements. Specific selection and placement of elements are at the sole discretion of The Town of Pelham. Still, collaboration with the donor to determine a general location is part of the process. 

There may be an extended lead time to acquire items or in the installation process. Installation typically happens annually. An email will be sent to the individual after installation is complete. The Town of Pelham thanks you for considering this heartfelt gift.
