Summerfest

The Pelham Summerfest Committee is the driving force behind our fabulous, award winning 4-day festival in downtown Fonthill. While the event itself takes many hands on deck for four days, the Committee are at the rudder year round, shaping and directing the Festival, working to bring you the best experience every year. The Committee is made up of volunteers from the community at large, the Pelham Business Association, Pelham Active Transportation Committee, Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce, Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee, staff and council. 

Objectives:
1. Encourage strong economic development and tourism through the creation of a home-town festival that focuses on celebrating at that is Pelham 

2. Promote active lifestyles by opening streets to pedestrian traffic creating a public gathering place

3. Engage all sectors of the community, such as service clubs, businesses, agriculture, sports organizations, arts, culture, etc.
