Introductory
Never participated in group fitness (sedentary lifestyle) or returning due to a break in fitness or injury (within one year).

Progressive
Active two or more days per week (i.e. personal fitness routine or group fitness), can participate at a moderate intensity level.

Performance
Active three or more days per week. Avid participation at a high intensity level.

Flexagility +

Flexagility™ + is a fusion of movement forms that assist in accomplishing better form, fitness and understanding in all motion. Components of the class include a mixed movement cardio section, a standing strength and endurance section, a balance and movement mechanics component and stretch.
The cardio component is a mix of higher and lower intensity patterns and drills that can be adjusted by the user to suit various levels of cardiovascular fitness. The conditioning section of the class will utilize resistance bands to enhance musculoskeletal fitness. Correct posture and alignment will be addressed to aid in avoiding awkward movements and promote optimum health.
Chairs will be used as tools for various exercises. Please note this is not a seated chair class.

Mom & Baby Fitness

Full body, low impact workout while babies join in or watch (yoga mat required and baby carrier if available). A place for moms to connect, regain energy and confidence without having to leave baby! Participants must be 6 weeks port partum (ideally babies are under one year of age).

There are age requirements in place for this activity. Players must be 18 or older participate.

Get out, be healthy and be social! The walking club meets every Tuesday and Thursday, all year round, rain or shine! 

 Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.

Yoga helps tone, lengthen, and strengthen muscles. This gentle form of yoga is perfect for beginners and those with experience. This class focuses on alignment and breath.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Though yoga is beneficial for all, chair yoga is the perfect way for seniors to discover yoga.

The Zumba Gold program targets baby boomers. It takes the Zumba®formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba® Fitness class is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere. Active older adults want camaraderie, excitement and fitness as a regular part of their weekly schedule. The Zumba Gold class is the perfect fit. It's a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun.

About: The Pelham Senior Citizens' Association meets at the Old Pelham Town Hall, 491 Canboro Road, Ridgeville, the second Wednesday of each month at 12 p.m. for a pot luck lunch followed by a business meeting. Card parties are held every Monday at 1 p.m. Various bus trips and special events are offered throughout the year. There are no meetings or cards during July and August.
