Did you know that every day, more than 320,000 patients across the province are treated and cared for by a doctor? Whether it’s in a hospital, a long-term care home, a clinic or at home, Ontario’s doctors are making a positive difference in the lives of patients by providing
high-quality care when it’s most needed.
To recognize Ontario’s 26,000+ practicing physicians, the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) is once again celebrating its annual Doctors’ Day campaign starting on May 1st. The Town of Pelham is proud to say “thanks” to the many doctors who help serve our families and community.
“As the Town works to increase the availability of family doctors and allied professionals in Pelham, it’s very important to acknowledge and thank local doctors for their exceptional care and service to our community,” said Mayor Dave Augustyn.
You too can participate by submitting a personalized thank-you message to your doctor through ontariosdoctors.com or by tweeting #ThanksDoc during the month of May.
