The 8,400 square foot, state-of-the-art facility planned for the Isaac Riehl Memorial Skate Park at Marlene Stewart Streit Park promises to boast features sure to excite and challenge riders of all skill levels when it opens in late Fall 2013.

Pelham residents are concerned for the safety of local longboarders and skateboarders, and Niagara Regional Police confirms there are indeed reasons to worry. Pelham Offers Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Alarms to Vulnerable Residents

Starting in late July, the Pelham Fire Department will distribute combination carbon monoxide and smoke alarms to vulnerable individuals, including families registered with Pelham Cares and those participating in Meals on Wheels.

The Office of the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, has informed the Town of Pelham that His Honour will be unable to attend scheduled events in Niagara on Friday June 21st due to illness.
