Town Hall closed on Labour Day

Please be advised that Pelham Town Hall, Meridian Community Centre, and administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 2, for the Labour Day holiday. Regular business hours resume on Tuesday, September 3 at 8:30 a.m.
Pelham Transit is NOT running on September 2, resuming September 3 with the new fall schedule. Visit www.pelham.ca/transit for more information.
Pelham Transit expanding

Beginning September 3, 2019, Pelham Transit will operate with a two bus system – the Pelham Circuit & the Pelham Connector. The two buses allow for consistent transit stops throughout Pelham and connections in Welland.
A new addition to the schedule are Niagara Region Transit stops at the Meridian Community Centre between 7-9 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. These stops are done during their route between Brock University and Niagara College. During these peak hours, Pelham Transit runs...

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE: Pancake Lane
Please be advised of the following road closure:
WHERE: Pancake Lane between Effingham Street and Blackwood Crescent
WHY: Allow for paving operations as part of the Road Rehabilitation Program. The street is too narrow to remain open during paving and will lead to turf damage along the road edge.
WHEN: Monday, August 26, 2019
TIME: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Access will be granted to emergency services and to those travelling to and from properties within the closure zone.

In advance of the public meeting schedule for Tuesday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the Meridian Community Centre for the proposed cannabis regulations, please find below copies of the draft official plan and zoning bylaw amendments, fence bylaw, fortification bylaw, and cannabis nuisance bylaw.

WHERE: 81 Sumbler Road
WHY: Sewer Lateral Installation, The City of Welland has a contractor installing a new sewer lateral at 81 Sumbler Road in Welland. This work requires trenching across the roadway in front of the above address which will require a complete road closure.
