Beautification Committee launches 'Thank You' campaign

An advisory committee to Council, the Beautification Committee fosters civic pride, environmental responsibility, and beautification through community involvement. Recently, they initiated a ‘Thank You’ card program.

The program's design is to inspire the Town’s businesses, organizations, and residents to enhance the beauty and visual appeal of the Town’s neighbourhoods and public spaces.

Niagara Region holiday changes in waste collection

 

​Garbage, Blue Box, Grey Box, and Green Bin collection will be deferred by one day in the week following Christmas Day in 2019 and New Year’s Day in 2020. Below is the schedule for curbside collection during the holidays:

Telephone system interruption

NOTICE OF PHONE SYSTEM INTERRUPTION

On Thursday December 12, Town Hall phone lines will  experience a period of inactivity beginning at 4 p.m.

With the Town's telephone system changing over, callers into the main line - 905-892-2607 - will experience busy tones and disconnected calls until the changeover is completed. The entire  process can take 1-2 hours.

Pelham, ON – Pelham’s Senior VIP program is the newest way seniors in town can volunteer, thanks in part to funding received from the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP).

The Senior VIP program encourages and engages seniors wishing to be more involved in community and social activities. Seniors have a breadth of knowledge and skills but may feel discouraged to volunteer or contribute in meaningful ways.
