Family Day fun at the MCC - Feb. 17, 2020

Get ready for a full day of fun, free, family activities during the Town of Pelham’s Family Day event at the Meridian Community Centre.
On Monday, February 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. families can enjoy a variety of activities, culminating in the popular Golden Boot hockey game, featuring coaches of Pelham Minor Hockey faceoff versus Pelham Firefighters.
A free skate from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. will be available in the Accipiter Arena. At 1 p.m. the Accipiter Arena will host the Golden Boot game sponsored...

Sign bylaw on hold
The Bylaw Enforcement Department submitted a new sign bylaw at the previous committee meeting and was asked to come back to Council with additional information regarding the new bylaw. Staff was requested to provide clarity regarding signs on private property and brought an update to the Feb. 3 meeting of Council.

Strike Camps available in Pelham

The Town of Pelham offers Strike Camps on February 4, 6, and 7 due to school closures for both the DSBN and Niagara Catholic School Board.
Strike camp is open to children ages 4-12 and held at the Meridian Community Centre from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with extended care also available from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Each day of strike camp includes skating, crafts, games, and activities in the gym. Please bring your skates, helmet, gloves, and indoor shoes.
