Strike camps Feb. 21 and 24

The Town of Pelham will be offering a daily Strike Camp for families searching for childcare on February 21 and 24.

Join us for a day full of activities including crafts and games. We will be skating, so please bring your skates, helmet and gloves. We will also be spending part of our day in the gym, so please bring indoor shoes. Lunch from the Panther's Den is included in registration price. Extended care is also available for an additional fee.

Camp runs from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., with extended care...

Odorous Industries Nuisance Bylaw deferred to March

 The odorous industries nuisance bylaw has been deferred to the March 23rd meeting of Council.

Upon receipt of correspondence from cannabis industry legal teams, Pelham’s Cannabis Control Committee has been authorized by Town Council to prepare a response, working alongside the Town’s legal counsel.

Notice of Road Closures - Feb. 18, 2020

Please be advised of the following road closures:

Pelham Street, north of Shorthills Place will be closed in both directions from Feb 18 to Feb 21, 2020

Welland Road, from Pelham Street to Michaela Crescent will be closed in both directions Feb 18 and Feb 19, 2020 (If required)

Closures are due to construction of services. Thank you for your patience. 

Public Meeting for a Zoning By-law Amendment AM-01-20

An application to amend the Zoning By-law was received for the property known locally as 1084 Quaker Road.

The applicant seeks approval to rezone the property from R1 (Residential 1) to a site-specific R1 zone to allow a duplex dwelling. The requested zoning change will recognize an existing dwelling unit within the basement of the existing single detached dwelling.
