Pelham Building Division offers fully digital service

Pelham, ON – Building services in the Town of Pelham will offer fully digital services beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. 

Building permit drawings and applications will be accepted digitally, improving the level of customer service provided by the Town by limiting repeated trips to Town Hall for applications and expediting the permit review process. 

Review and changes by staff will also be returned digitally, further reducing time spent physically...

LPAT Hearing Adjournment

This is to advise that the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) has cancelled two (2) upcoming case management conferences in the Town of Pelham: 

  1. Appeal re Zoning Amendment and Site Plan - 1440 Pelham Street - March 17, 2020
  2. RedeCan Appeal re Interim Control By-law No. 4159(2019) - March 25, 2020

All conferences will be re-scheduled at a later date.

Town of Pelham's Programs

Please note that all Town of Pelham’s regularly scheduled programs are continuing as planned. The Town of Pelham is taking the provisions recommended by provincial and regional governing bodies and are proceeding with an increased sanitization and cleaning schedule at the Meridian Community Centre. Please see below for the recommendations made from the Ministry of Health:

Town moves forward with 2020 gypsy moth spray program

At the March 2, 2020, meeting of Council, the recommendation to move forward with a gypsy moth spray program utilizing the $150,000 approved budget was given the green light. This option provides aerial spraying for 33 hectares of municipal property and 90 hectares of private property.

Identifying spray blocks and the locations to receive the application will now commence. Once the spray blocks have been identified, maps identifying the areas receiving the aerial spray program will be made available....
