The Pelham Garden Club, formally known as the Pelham Horticulture Society, has been in existence since 1928. The volunteer members have taken on many projects over the decades, with the Town of Pelham benefiting greatly from planting new flower beds to tree plantings. Niagara Region has launched a new waste management app, called Niagara Region Waste, which makes it even easier for residents to obtain current information about waste and recycling collection programs.

Wayne Olson elected in Ward One by-election

The official results of the Ward One by-election are in, and Wayne Olson will serve as Ward One's Councillor for the remainder of the term. Olson, receiving the most votes, becomes Pelham’s newest Councillor once certified by the Clerk.

Olson received a total of 681 of the 1,177 votes cast, for 58 per cent of the vote. Twenty votes were cast using the on-demand special ballot.
