Utility Sustainability Advisory Committee finds hundreds of thousands in savings

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham’s Utility Sustainability Advisory Committee’s work is starting to pay off, literally.

Announced at Council on Monday, September 16, 2019, the Town is set to see yearly reductions of over $135,000 for operation of the Meridian Community Centre (MCC) as well as an immediate rebate in the amount of $66,858.

Town of Pelham continues work toward Cannabis regulations and policies

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham’s Interim Control Bylaw regarding Cannabis related land uses is being challenged in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice by Leviathan Cannabis Group, through a subsidiary, Woodstock Biomed Inc.

Pelham transit updating schedules, services

Pelham, ON – Changes to Pelham Transit’s routes, services, and schedules are on the horizon. 

With a new link to Niagara Regional Transit, Pelham Transit is adapting its services to ensure consistent, timely pickups, drop-offs, and scheduling.

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham is pleased to announce the hiring of David Cribbs as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

Previously the CAO for Norfolk County, where he led and supervised over 750 county staff, Cribbs carries 15 years of municipal experience to the position, having served the City of London, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, and Lambton County in various roles.

Pelham Arena lands back on the market; new designs welcome

Pelham, ON – 1120 Haist Street, commonly referred to in Pelham as the arena lands, is going back on the market, minus the requirement to adhere to the previously preferred development plan.
